Community spirit
Established in 2008 by Tudor Pole and a small but determined group of volunteers, the Stockton Heath Festival takes place each summer over an extended weekend in July with one aim – to bring together the whole community to celebrate art, culture and heritage. It remains proudly independent, fueled by a strong community spirit!
Night and day, each year the village comes alive with the festival’s colourful sights, sounds and delicious food smells. As well as the many activities on the Festival Field, community venues welcome an eclectic mix of free and affordable activities for all ages and interests.

Ways to support your local festival
Community contribution
Stockton Heath Festival is a registered charity relying on the support and generosity of our local community. Here are two ways you can support the festival.
Come along!
What are you interested in? If you enjoy all kinds of live music, come along. Fancy a meet-up with family and friends over lunch or drinks? The festival has that covered too. Many community venues take part and the Festival Field a-buzz with things to see and do. And if browsing affordable art or gifts is your thing – guess what … you’ll find plenty of that too.
With the support of local businesses, parish councils, volunteers and the local community the festival continues to go from strength to strength. Thank you to all supporters as the festival simply could not do without you!
The Stockton Heath Festival is a registered Charity (Number 1127698) and a member of the Association of Independent Festivals
Festival FAQ
How is Stockton Heath Festival run?
The Festival is run by volunteers. An Executive Committee led by a Festival Director is responsible for putting the Festival together. Each year about 50 volunteers from the local community help organise and put on the Festival.
How much does the Festival cost to put on?
Costs change from year to year but approximately £45,000 is needed each year to put the Festival on. This covers things such as hiring the marquees, sound and lighting equipment, publicity, performance fees, licences, insurance and event fees etc.
How do I sponsor the Festival?
