Workshops and interactive events

In Stockton Heath Library, no need to pre-book! All events are FREE with most aimed at children of all abilities (up to 10 years old).

For children

Along with the festival activities, during normal library opening times, children can:

  • Find “jungle creatures” hiding in the library and work out the secret word, or discover what “animals” are hiding in mystery boxes? There are prize draws on the day.
  • Name our Leopard and the winning name will be announced on Tuesday 9th July (the prize is the library leopard).

For adults

Join local authors Carol Bissett and Liz Hedgecock to learn about writing crime and hear excerpts from their books. Questions are welcome … apart from where the bodies are buried

Thursday 4th July
